Hello, world
Every programmer’s first program prints the same two words.
Hello, world.
It’s a small ritual, proof the thing runs before you try to make it do anything real.
This post is that ritual for the blog itself.
I’m paluco, and I build things. Mostly software, lately mostly AI agents, websites that do more than sit there and wait for a click. That’s the tech side of what you’ll find here: notes from actually building, not just reading about it.
The tech doesn’t happen in a vacuum, though. It’s in service of Tecnología Jibara, a business I’m building from scratch, and building a business turns out to be less about the product than about the person building it. Every plateau I’ve hit had less to do with the code or the market and more to do with who I believed I was allowed to become. That’s the mindset side, identity, the stories that quietly cap what you’ll attempt, and the work of rewriting them. I’m a combat veteran, and coming back to civilian life is its own identity shift, nobody hands you a new self-image at the door. I train Muay Thai and BJJ for the same reason I write about identity, both keep putting me back in the position of being a beginner on purpose. I’m a white belt in BJJ, and I’m working toward my coaching certification in Muay Thai, so right now I’m living both ends of that at once, still learning and already being asked to teach.
So the blog runs on three threads that keep turning out to be one thread: what I’m building, what I’m learning about how the mind actually works, and the business I’m building both of those into. Tech without mindset is just tools with no one driving. Mindset without tech is just journaling. Put together, they’re the whole project.
If you’re here for the code, stay for the identity posts. If you’re here for the identity posts, stay for the code. That’s kind of the point.
